Information services on environmental protection in Hungary.

Environmental protection is considered important worldwide only by a narrow cirle, the average individual is characterised by obstinate indifference and lack of information. Although they are spreading rather slowly, there are fortunately already in Hungary too national and local organizations and associations of environmental protection. The article describes organizations with national responsibilities, listing their addresses, telephone numbers, scope of duties and services. (pp. 243-249)
